DePoly SA is a Swiss cleantech company tackling one of today’s most pressing environmental challenges: plastic waste. Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Sion, DePoly has developed an innovative chemical recycling process that converts post-consumer and post-industrial PET plastics and polyester textiles back into their raw monomers, PTA and MEG. Unlike traditional methods, the process works at room temperature and can treat unsorted, dirty, or mixed materials, including colored packaging and textile waste, without costly pre-treatments. The resulting outputs are virgin-quality, ready to be reused in the production of new plastics and fibers, creating a truly circular solution. With its showcase plant in Monthey and a growing industrial footprint, DePoly is enabling companies worldwide to reduce reliance on fossil resources, cut emissions, and close the loop in plastic and textile value chains -paving the way toward a more sustainable, circular economy.
