Banana hemp also known as abaca fiber. The abaca plant is a close relative to banana and origin in the Philippines. It is not only the strongest of all natural fibers, but also a more eco option than cotton due to pesticide free farming. We extract the fiber of banana hemp and make it into the paper. Then we cut and twisted it into the yarn to get a clean and neat appearance.
