dimpora is transforming the outdoor wear industry by reconciling performance and sustainability. The Swiss tech material startup relies on its scientific background to develop 100% sustainable fluorine-free (PFAS-free) porous membranes with high waterproofing, breathability, and stretchability properties mostly aimed at the outdoor industry. Bio-based and biodegradable membranes are currently under development. PFCs/PFAs are found in the membranes incorporated into outwear. Those chemicals have been revealed to be extremely hazardous and persistent in the environment. That's why dimpora was founded.
