The fabric is woven with 60% biomass derived PET and 40% recycled polyester to demonstrate a renewable and cost competitive PET fabric that is composed of bio plastics, recycled plastic bottles, and recycled polyester fabric waste. Treated with fluorocarbon free DWR and bonded with a PET membrane, the entire piece is recyclable while holding identical waterproof and breathable performance properties to PU based membranes.
